Need help building a dc dc converter that takes 10 - 18 vdc @50amps. Out put 50vdc. I found an uncomplicated schemattic for 1 that only consisted of 2 mosfets 1 torrid 1 bridged diode rect. And 4 filterring capacitors but no values and didn't show how to wire everything together. And is it possible to wire multible together for more amps?

These are difficult to design as they involve special transformers, power transistors, heat flow, very high currents and other issues. Unless you have a LOT of experience in these areas, I'd skip it. Much easier to buy one, it would cost you less than the cost of the parts. It's difficult to find DC-DC converters of the proper voltages, so if you can't find exactly what you want, consider using an inverter, and a transformer followed by diodes and capacitor. Paralleling units together may work, but you have to be careful. You may need isolation diodes. .
