I have a Samsung digimax s1000 camera and it wastes batteries like crazy, I can't recharge batteries all the time and I want to do a photo-shoot with it but without having ''low battery'' problems, so is there any way that I can connect it to a power supply ? It doesn't have to be movable.
And got the following answer:
From the Samsung digimax s1000 web page Power Source Primary Battery: 2x AA Alkaline Rechargeable battery(0ptional) : SCC-S8 KIT(Dedicated Cradle Charging System) SNB-2512 KIT(2xAA Ni-MH Battery & Charger) http://www.samsungimaging.com/learn/digital-camera-camcorder/productDetailView.do?forward=specifications&prdCtgSeq=11&langPrdSeq=1640 There is no option for an AC adapter I cant find specifics for your camera but point n shoots Ive read about get from 150-300 photos per charge. I did see a few user comments for your camera and most were happy with battery usage. How many photos will you take during your “shoot”? How many do you expect per charge? If youre getting way less than 150 it could be youre using inexpensive generic batteries like those on Ebay. Youre using some low mah batteries. Your batteries have been recharged so many times they can no longer hold their original capacity. You recharged them improperly and diminished their capacity.
