kwater76 asked One switch off a dual light switch outlet is not working?
In one of my dual light switch outlets ...one switch controls the kitchen light and the other controls the power to garage door opener. Both worked last night but this morning only the kitchen light works. It did rain last night buy I am not sure if that had any effect. Any idea why the switch to the garage door opener would not be working this morning?
And got the following answer:
Check your circuit breakers and GFCI outlets also. To reset a tripped circuit breaker, turn it all the way off then back on. Unlikely, but this switch and outlet could run from a GFCI outlet somewhere. That would be one with a Test and a Reset button it. Any that you find, push the Reset button firmly to see if the outlet starts working.
