luebkesan asked Where can I find a power supply for a Polaroid TV?
Other than E-bay, what website can I find a power supply for a 37" LCD Polaroid Monitor FLM-3701?
And got the following answer:
http://www.andrewselectronics.com/welcome.aspx I think this model only has the entire module available. It has all the boards and the metal shield (includes the power and signal/main boards). I have seen a bunch of these sets, and I have never seen the power board cause the problem. I would guess over 90% of these sets have bad main/signal board, and over 5% are the panel. I'm sure that some power boards have failed, but this has a really small, rugged, and simple power board. Most of the power distribution is done on the main. Most of my customers say no to the price, and especially since they realize that the likely hood of them only lasting as long as the first part lasted. I think I have one of these in the shop. I will check and see if the model is the same. I that there is more to the model # than you gave me. They make up the 3 different versions for for some 37" models. In the mean time can you add more info and why you feel it's the power supply. Hopefully you do have a bad power board and I may have one setting around the shop, that I can recycle for a song.
