No, not at all. Everything will be just fine. But when they say "minimum 500 watts, or 750 watts or whatever, that is exactly what it means - the thing will barely run with the minimum. If you're getting a 7990, I would be looking at 850 watts on up! :O ~Cindy! 🙂
