Monster asked Anyone know of a non-dimmer remote control light switch?
I had a Lutron Maestro remote controlled light switch for my lights in my great room that i could turn on and off with a Harmony remote. Recently I switched to LED lights and I get a light show every time I use a dimmer. I am not sure if it is because of the very slight delay on the lights or the difference in wattage but the lights flicker until they have been on for a bit and my dimmer sounds like it is still running. A normal on off switch works just fine but I can't find one that I can use a remote with. Anyone know of a infrared remote control (just on off) light switch?
And got the following answer:
LED lights are generally not intended to be used with dimmers, as you have discovered. I googled the system you have, and found that Lutron offers an appliance module that should work with your LED lights. Look at Lutron's site for more info.
