It is located about 5 to 10 inches from the burner following the air flow. It turns "OFF" if temperature is higher that some limit. It suppose to turn back "ON" when temperature drops, but after some time it is getting weak and need replacement. You need to find the reason for the limit witch to turn. It is most often dirty air filter, but could be not working blower motor or dirty A/C evaporator coil.
